On the 2nd June, 2022 the National Technical Working group team on Composite Budget visited the Lower Manya Krobo Municipal Assembly during their routine Monitoring exercise at Lower Manya Krobo Municipal Assembly Hall. The team was led by Mr. Ebo Amoah from Ministry of Finance and Mr. Francis Asare from Eastern Regional Coordinating Council.
They interacted with the expanded Management of the Assembly which included Municipal Coordinating Director, Heads of Departments and Units. The Monitoring team used questionnaires to facilitate discussions in the meeting.
They touched on matters such as Policy-Based Strategy and Budgeting, Budget Reliability, Transparency of Public Finance, Management of Asset and Liability, Predictability and control in Budget Execution, Accounting and Reporting and Cross Cutting Issues.
At the end of the monitoring team visit, they entreated Management of the Lower Manya Krobo Municipal Assembly to come out with innovative ways on the implementation of the Fiscal Decentralization Policies.
