The Lower Manya Krobo Municipal Assembly has held its Second Ordinary Sitting of the Third Session of the Eighth General Assembly at the Assembly Conference Hall on Tuesday, September 29, 2026.
The sitting brought together Assembly Members, heads of department and other stakeholders to consider and approve Executive Committee report and the Annual Action Plan for 2027.
In a brief address, Honorable John Atteh Matey the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) highlighted some developmental projects the Assembly has done. Commissioned of ultra-modern Kindergarten (KG) block at Kpong Quarters Roman Catholic Basic School and 3-unit-classroom block with auxiliary facility at Agomanya Roman Catholic Basic School, five boreholes with treatment plants in some of the communities in the Municipality, amongst others. He stated that the Assembly is committed to driving sustainable development to enhance the well-being of residents in the Municipality.
The Assembly expressed confidence that the decisions reached will help accelerate the Municipality’s growth and will improve the living standards of the residents.
