Linking Up Initiative-End of Project Dissemination Meeting Ensign Global College Conference Hall

On the September 6, 2022 the Lower Manya Municipal Assembly held a meeting with the Linking Up Initiative at the Ensign Global College conference hall. The meeting started 8:00am. The introduction of the meeting and workshop objectives was done by the MC
The welcome address was delivered by the MCE, Hon. Simon Tetteh. History and workshop objective of the Linking Up Initiative was given by Dr. Esi Colecraft. Local Partners of the project were Ghana Health Service and Queen Mothers.
Three districts were engaged Lower Manya Krobo Municipal, Yilo Krobo Municipal and Upper Manya Krobo. The project supported one hundred and sixty-six (166) beneficial’s in the three (3) districts and in eight (8) communities. The project is about farming, poultry and horticulture that is egg and garden egg respectively. Some of the Farmer Base Organization (FBO) beneficial were there to share the experiences that was their challenges, profits etc. Staffs from Agriculture dept (DAD), Ghana Enterprise Agency formally (BAC), Ghana Health Services (GHS), Ghana Education Service (GES), Social Welfare Dept, Management Information System etc from the three districts and department were invited.
There was General discussion on the sustainability of the project. The meeting ended 6:00pm with a closing prayer.
