On Tuesday, 7th July 2026, Management and staff of the Lower Manya Krobo Municipal Assembly held a Staff Durbar at the Assembly Hall, which was followed by an official working visit by the Eastern Regional Coordinating Director, *Mr. Ebenezer Amoah*, and his entourage.
The programme commenced at 9:00 a.m. with an opening prayer, followed by a welcome address from Management. The Municipal Coordinating Director Samuel Affadu appreciated staff for their commitment and highlighted the importance of teamwork, professionalism, discipline, and continuous improvement in enhancing service delivery.
The durbar featured discussions on key issues including financial planning, smart workplace practices, online training and examinations, Local Government Service protocols, staff attendance, and work attitude. Staff were encouraged to embrace continuous learning, innovation, and collaboration to improve productivity and achieve the objectives of the Assembly.
After the Staff Durbar, the Eastern Regional Coordinating Director undertook his official working visit to the Assembly. The visit was aimed at engaging Management and staff, assessing the working environment, understanding operational challenges, and identifying areas where support could be provided to strengthen administrative efficiency and service delivery.
In his remarks, Mr. Ebenezer Amoah encouraged staff to remain committed to their duties, uphold the values of the Local Government Service, and work together towards achieving institutional goals. He also emphasised the importance of dedication, professionalism, and effective collaboration.
An open forum was held where staff raised concerns and sought clarification on matters relating to staff welfare, logistics, training opportunities, office accommodation, and other workplace challenges. Management and the delegation responded appropriately and assured staff of their commitment to improving the working environment.
The programme ended with a closing prayer. The Staff Durbar and official visit provided an opportunity for meaningful engagement between the Regional Coordinating Council, Management, and staff of the Lower Manya Krobo Municipal Assembly, strengthening collaboration and reaffirming the commitment of all stakeholders towards improved efficiency and quality service delivery.
