The Lower Manya Krobo Municipal Assembly has held its Second Ordinary Sitting of the Second Session of the Eighth General Assembly at the Assembly Conference Hall on Thursday, October 2, 2025.The sitting brought together Assembly Members, heads of department and other stakeholders to consider and approve Revised 2025 Composite Budget, the Medium Term Development Plan, and the 2026 Annual Action Plan. The Assembly also approved the formation of an Adhoc Committee to investigate and provide recommendations on the Agomanya Market Lockable Stores impasse.
In a brief address, Honorable John Atter Matey the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) disclosed that the Assembly had received its first and second quarter allocations of the District Assembly Common Fund (DACF).
He highlighted some developmental projects the Assembly has used portions of the said fund to do and stated that, the Assembly is committed to ensuring judicious use of its resources for the benefit of the people.

After extensive deliberations, necessary corrections, and inputs from members, all documents and proposals were unanimously adopted.
The Assembly expressed confidence that the decisions reached will help accelerate the Municipality’s growth and will improve the living standards of the residents.
