STAFF ENGAGEMENT ON THE FIRST QUARTER CAPACITY BUILDING AND THE CLIMAX OF THE HERITAGE MONTH

As part of the Lower Manya Krobo Municipal Assembly’s activities to enhance its staff’s skills and knowledge, the Assembly organized a one-day capacity building for the staff. The training at the conference Hall of the Assembly on 27th March, 2024 was on topic ‘Time Management and Organizational Skills.’ 

The day was also set aside to commemorate Ghana Month. Staff of the Assembly were in their traditional dress and a staple foods was prepared for the staff present to enjoy.       

The Municipal Coordinating Director Mr. Selorm Tibu on behalf of the Municipal Chief Executive Hon. Simon Kweku Tetteh welcome the staff present and thanked them for their commitment and dedication and advised them on the need to show good attitude towards work for productivity. He took the opportunity to outline some projects funded by Ghana Secondary Support program in the Municipality.

Authority (VRA) in his presentation said Time is the technique designed to
enable one to do more effective work in less time.     
He also said that ‘time management is a skill’ and that time wasting is linked to lack of discipline. He therefore encouraged the staff and everyone present to practice time management for effective and efficient productivity.

 

The program was climaxed with some indoor games such as ludo, cards among others. Local dishes such as plantain with kontomire, cocoyam with kontomire, kokonte with groundnut soup, banku with groundnut soup amongst others were enjoyed. Local drinks such as Sobolo, Millet drink, rice drink, palm wine amongst others were also enjoyed. The local dishes were prepared to climax the Ghana month.
